Bobby Crosby was included in a trade to Arizona in a deal for Chris Snyder

There are talks of a three team deal between the Cardinals, Padres, and Indians that has Eric Ludwick going to San Diego and Jake Westbrook going to the Cardinals

WOW, the Giants got HOSED in that deal. Javier is nothing more than a latin Mike Venafro. They dealt a slick hitting OFer who needs a place in a lineup (he'll get it in Pitt) and Joe Martinez isn't terrible.

So Lopez replaces Affeldt.

Reynolds is fine. I'd take his power for those K's anyday.

Red Sox pick up needed Cer Jerrod Saltalamacchia for a pair of minor leaguers.

Dods also got Dotel today. There may also been an attempt by the Braves to get Figgins + League, but Seattle wouldn't give up League. That's about it for big names.

How did Giants got hosed? They traded Bowker, who his a definition of a AAAA player and Joe Martinez, who is a average pitcher at best. In exchange they got a pitcher with a 2.79 ERA who pitches for a shitty ballclub.
Not to mention he's only given up two home runs and has a 60.2% groundball rate.
